Milestones in Our History
The Professional Training School of Volkswagen was established in Puebla to train the technical workforce for the newly established Volkswagen de México assembly plant.
The school’s new facilities—widely recognized in the industry as ESCAP—opened in Building 40, within the Volkswagen de México plant.
The Volkswagen Training and Development Institute (S.C.) was founded as a dedicated business unit. Its mission: to elevate personnel training and drive supplier development across the Volkswagen network.
We became the first official VDA QMC licensee in Mexico, establishing ourselves as a strategic partner and becoming a strategic benchmark for the automotive industry across European and American markets.
Marking our 50th anniversary and five decades of the German Dual Training System in Mexico, we officially rebranded as Volkswagen Group Academy Mexico, aligning with the Group’s global commercial strategy.
In response to the global pandemic, we pivoted our training models and integrated 'Agility' into our corporate DNA, ensuring seamless, high-quality service delivery in a rapidly changing environment.
